Overview

The Progressive Christian Training Institute (PCTI) is a non-degree granting Bible school that envisions nurtured, equipped and empowered students carrying out the Great Commission while living purposeful lives of Christ-like integrity. The Institute is for anyone who desires to obtain basic understanding of the Bible and Christian ministry. Admissions is open to both Progressive Church of God in Christ members and non-members who are in agreement with the Church of God in Christ Affirmation of Faith. The Institute uses curriculum published by the Evangelical Training Association (ETA). Courses range from six (6) to twelve (12) weeks in length. Students must attend eighty percent (80%) of each course and successfully complete a final test, project, or evaluation designed by the instructor to eventually earn a nationally recognized certificate issued by the ETA.

The Institute also, periodically, offers independent courses as approved by the pastor and the director of the Institute. There is no registration fee. Student are required to pay for the textbook upon registration. The cost is $20.00 (includes tax and shipping and handling). The cost is subject to change without prior notification.
